Thai food

Went to a local Thai food restaurant with my wife today for lunch. I ordered Gang Keo Wan (Green Curry). I ordered it to be the spiciest they serve. I was a little disappointed when they brought my curry with dried red chilli flakes all over it. I would have expected a fresh green chilli to add extra spice.

On the other side of the spectrum, when I was in Seattle for SMX Advanced, I had some great curry at a small Thai restaurant called Buddha Bell – not far from Bell Harbor International Conference Center. Highly recommended.

Oh, Oh, I recommend a place in Memphis called Bhan Thai. The green curry is pretty hot and the Pot See U is very good. One of my English professors recommended another place called Bangkok Alley. I still have to check it out.

Can you find the ingredients there to make your own? There are a few good Thai restaurants nearby here…but some dishes they just don’t do authentically at all. We’re lucky to have so many Asian stores around and I just buy the ingredients…even just using a ready-made curry paste from Thailand is great :-D

Yeh I make my own from time to time, but some times you just don’t want to hassle with cooking.
