Took my daughter and her friends to the Padres vs. Angels preseason exhibition game. Was the first time Rina has been to a ball game. Took her a while to understand what was going on and I think if it wasn’t so cold she would have enjoyed it more. At the beginning of the 3rd inning she told me, “Dad it’s so nice we were able to come watching during the day.” I pointed up to the sky to show her it was pitch black and then had to explain how the bright lights made it look like day time in the stadium.

We left during the 7th ining stretch as I tried to explain to her why everyone was singing “Talk Me Out To The Ball Game” standing up. Overall was a great experience and I’m looking forward to taking her to an NFL game this season!
