  • Got Compiz started today and it actually makes my work flow easier as moving between viewports is much easier than switching between desktops. It’s also cool to show folks the effect and have them ask “can I have that on Windows?”
  • The Mvix series of multimedia players is a worthwhile investment in this day and age. Even if you have DVDs being able to have everything on a single hard disk is worth it as it lengthens the life span of your DVDs. The wireless/network features is nice on the 760HD though I’m looking forward to a firmware upgrade that will give me NAS (Networked Attached Storage) features.
