I’ve been thinking about this website quite a bit recently, it’s not exactly what I had hoped for in a personal website but it’s held it’s own and has had it’s times of interest and lack of interest. Some think I don’t blog enough, well so far I have at least been consistent with the fact that I’m an inconsistent blogger. And I don’t feel bad about it at all as it’s the same pace I’ve had (and that started well before everyone and their dog had a blog).
Not to bash faithful bloggers, as it does make the blog realm interesting.
There are a few things I want my site to accomplish. I want the kid/family life news for relatives, however I find that having tech tips available saves me having to email the same thing to various folks as it’s in one location. Additionally I want to post pictures, programs, scripts, music, video, etc.
So I’m planning another redesign of the site, and I’m going over to the Joomla side. — Note: Joomla is not MAMBO! With version 1.5 it looks more promising than the stagnant Xaraya and so I’ve started on the shell and you’ll probably see another change around here shortly.
In summary you should not consider my site a blog. It won’t be a blog. It will be “A Life Without Compunction”. — And without any compunction I bid farewell to the blog.

4Hi Dan, I happened on your site by accident today, I don’t remember how I came up upon it, but i’m glad I that did.
I love the pics of your wider family enjoying themselves, and the lovely pics of your daughter.
I live in central Australia and we are now in the grip of a 1000 year drought, only just enough water in our `tanks’ for drinking, all industry and agriculture closing down.
It sounds desperate and I guess many of us are now, but we’ve survived similar situations without the technology which is saving our lives now.
Your sobering belief in your god has touched me and although I don’t share in your beliefs, I take comfort in the normalcy of your lives…
Keep posting, it does matter…
